13 مارس National Cheerleading Day

Under the patronage of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the Honorable President of the University, Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, the respected Dr. Haider Hamid Blaw Al-Kaabi, the College of Agriculture holds its activity on the occasion of the National Afforestation Day, which falls on the twelfth of March.

It included the following activities:

1. A workshop on the importance of afforestation and the most important trees that suit the conditions of the region

2. Distribution of trees and flowers to university colleges

3. Distributing trees and flowers to the governorate’s schools in coordination with the Muthanna Education Directorate.

4. Planting palm trees and fruit trees at Al-Muthanna University.

5. The number of trees that will be planted during the campaign is 2000 trees.

6. Printing awareness brochures to instill a culture of afforestation.
