According to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the necessity of educating students about water consumption, the College of Agriculture held on 3/5/2024 a scientific symposium entitled ((Modern irrigation methods and techniques to rationalize the consumption of irrigation water used to irrigate strategic crops)) in which Prof. Dr. Fleih lectured. Hamed Kassar, Head of the Desertification Control Department and A.M. Dr. Haider Razzaq Laibi, a lecturer in the Field Crops Department. The symposium aimed to familiarize postgraduate students with modern irrigation techniques and methods that can reduce water consumption and at the same time increase production.
