Under the patronage of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi<\/span>, and the supervision of the Honorable President of the University, Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher<\/span>, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, the respected Dr. Haider Hamid Blaw Al-Kaabi<\/span>, the College of Agriculture holds its activity on the occasion of the National Afforestation Day, which falls on the twelfth of March.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It included the following activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

1. A workshop on the importance of afforestation and the most important trees that suit the conditions of the region<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Distribution of trees and flowers to university colleges<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Distributing trees and flowers to the governorate\u2019s schools in coordination with the Muthanna Education Directorate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Planting palm trees and fruit trees at Al-Muthanna University.<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. The number of trees that will be planted during the campaign is 2000 trees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

6. Printing awareness brochures to instill a culture of afforestation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t
